PLUMB,
LEVEL & SQUARE.
These are the basic principles of good construction that every carpenter and builder should follow. How hard can that be? Not very, yet few of today’s production and semi-custom homes are anything but plumb, level and square. A house does not “feel right” when these simple principals not adhered to. You will know it, but you won’t be able to figure out what makes a house feel that way. Then you walk through a quality custom home that is plumb, level and square and you feel the difference. The house makes you feel calm and at peace. That’s the hidden power of craftsmanship and quality!
Having a true custom home built
on your lot is much different than buying a speculation
or tract house in a new community. The process
usually starts with a blank notepad and through
discussion and selection; the new home comes to
life on paper. Plans are selected or drawn
and the specifications are prepared. Once
the contract is signed and the building permit is
issued, the real construction begins. With
digging, pouring, grading, stacking, sawing and
hammering your new home takes shape. It naturally
takes longer to build a custom home, as the level
of craftsmanship is above average, the grade of
materials used and the quality of the fixtures,
cabinetry and hardware is much better than what
you would normally see in a production house.
From a blank piece of paper to a completed custom
home built with your selections; the process is
fascinating. With over 55 years of experience,
we are dedicated to building homes with lasting
quality and timeless detail.
